Write your own story

Write Your Own Story focused on changing one’s view of themselves into that of a writer. It used freewriting exercises to release some of the self-limiting beliefs our academic careers have instilled in us. We set out to unlearn the years of being marked down and confined to writing certain ways in order to find our own voices. We read many articles (two included below) as well as ‘Writing Alone and With Others’ by Pat Schneider, which was a wonderful book to writing practices. I’ve also linked one freewrite I composed as well as the final paper I wrote for the short four-week class.
